How we source figures
- Vendor documentation first: the pricing page, the FAQ PDF, the deployment guide.
- Named third-party listings (G2, Gartner Peer Insights, PeerSpot, Vendr) where vendors do not publish. We say so explicitly.
- Named published datasets (IBM Cost of a Data Breach, Ponemon Insider Risks, Gartner SOAR research) for non-vendor benchmark anchors.
- We never infer a rate from a vendor leak, sales pitch, or competitor claim.
Refresh cadence
Every page carries a verified-stamp date. We re-verify quarterly and on demand when a major vendor event (acquisition, pricing-page rewrite, product rebrand) hits. Any page older than two quarters is flagged in the next refresh sweep.
